Ludo online
Play Ludo online with friends.
Send one link and play in the browser. No app to download, no ads, and your friends don’t need an account. Free.
- 2–4 players
- Phone or laptop
- Classic rules
- Group chat beside the board

How it works
- 1
Type your friends’ names
Up to three of them. That’s the whole setup.
- 2
Send them the link
Drop it in your group chat. It opens in any browser, on a phone or a laptop.
- 3
Everyone taps their name and plays
No download, no sign-up for them. The board updates live for everyone.
The rules we play by
Classic Ludo, nothing changed. The game keeps score and enforces the rules, so nobody argues.
- Two to four players. With two, you sit opposite each other.
- Roll a 6 to bring a token out of your yard onto the board.
- Land on someone’s token to send it back to their yard, except on the star squares and the start squares, which are safe.
- A 6, a capture, or getting a token home earns you another roll. Three 6s in a row and your turn is over.
- Walk your tokens all the way round and up your home column. You need the exact number to finish.
- First player with all four tokens home wins.
More than one game
Your room stays open after the game. Play again any time with the same link, or try Houseshare (our own property-trading board game), a card table, or spin a wheel to decide who picks the movie.
Ordered pizza for game night? The same room splits the bill too, down to the cent, so nobody’s left out of pocket.
See everything in the roomQuestions
- Is it free?
- Yes. Playing Ludo is free, with no ads and no limit on games. Whoever creates the room makes a free account; nobody pays anything.
- Do my friends need to download an app or sign up?
- No. They open the link in their browser, tap their name, and play. Only the person who creates the room needs a (free) account.
- How many people can play?
- Two to four. With two players you sit on opposite corners of the board, like the real thing.
- Can we play on phones?
- Yes. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and laptops, and everyone can be on a different device.
- Can we talk while we play?
- There’s a group chat right beside the board. For voice, most groups keep a call going in their usual app alongside.
- Can I play with strangers?
- No. Rooms are private to your group: only people with your link can get in, and you can reset the link any time.
